Action Construction Equipment Limited (ACE) has achieved a major milestone by securing its largest-ever order, worth ₹420 crores, to supply 1,121 Rough Terrain Fork Lift Trucks (RTFLTs) to the Ministry of Defence. This order, covering 60% of the total 1,868 RTFLTs procured, strengthens India’s defence infrastructure and aligns with the ‘Make in India’ and ‘Aatma Nirbhar Bharat’ initiatives.
The RTFLTs, designed for the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force, are mission-critical assets that enhance combat readiness and logistical efficiency. By minimizing manual handling of supplies, these trucks significantly improve operational effectiveness.
ACE’s breakthrough contract follows rigorous performance testing, showcasing its technological expertise and robust R&D capabilities. This order cements ACE’s position as a leader in specialized cranes and material handling equipment, while driving India’s self-reliance in defence manufacturing.
Sorab Agarwal, Executive Director of ACE, stated, “This is a momentous achievement for ACE, marking our single largest order to date and a testament to our unwavering commitment to innovation and excellence. We take immense pride in playing a crucial role in strengthening our nation’s defence logistics with indigenously designed and manufactured solutions.”
This landmark achievement highlights ACE’s commitment to innovation and its pivotal role in advancing India’s indigenous manufacturing capabilities. With this contract, ACE continues to lead the charge in transforming India’s defence sector and material handling technology.
