Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) has announced a total dividend of Rs 53 per equity share (face value Re 1) for the financial year ended March 31, 2025. This includes a final dividend of Rs 24 per share, in addition to the interim dividend of Rs 19 and a special dividend of Rs 10 paid earlier on November 21, 2024.

Q4 FY25 results: Steady performance despite margin pressure

HUL reported a 3.6% year-on-year rise in standalone net profit to Rs 2,493 crore in Q4 FY25, up from Rs 2,406 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations stood at Rs 15,213 crore, compared to Rs 14,857 crore in Q4 FY24, marking a 2.4% increase.

EBITDA grew 1% YoY to Rs 3,466 crore, up from Rs 3,435 crore. However, the EBITDA margin narrowed to 22.8% from 23.1% last year due to continued input cost pressures and higher advertising expenses.

Total expenses rose to Rs 12,136 crore from Rs 11,813 crore, while profit before tax improved to Rs 3,354 crore, up from Rs 3,247 crore YoY.
