
CESC Limited has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Bhojraj Renewables Energy Private Limited, a subsidiary of the company, for a 300 MW wind-solar hybrid power project.
The agreement has been signed at a tariff of ₹3.81 per kWh and will be valid for a period of 25 years. The PPA is subject to the approval of the West Bengal Electricity Regulatory Commission (WBERC). It will come into effect from the date of regulatory approval.
CESC informed the stock exchanges that the move aligns with its focus on strengthening its renewable energy portfolio and meeting future energy requirements through clean energy sources.
The disclosure was made in accordance with Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The company’s shares are listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) under the symbol “CESC” and on BSE with the code “500084”.
