Arda scored in the first half and the second half was pretty boring as none of the teams looked desperate to score goals.

Carlo Ancelotti’s men came into the match knowing that nothing less than a win would do, and it was the 19-year-old Güler who stepped up. His composed finish in the first half proved to be the difference-maker on a night where both teams lacked urgency in the second period.
While the second half offered little in terms of attacking excitement, Madrid’s solid defensive display ensured they bagged all three points. Barcelona may still be favourites to lift the trophy, but Real Madrid have made it clear — they are not backing down without a fight.
